So schnell dreht sich's

Gestern noch himmelhoch jauchzend, heute zu tode betrübt.
Mein Vermieter der ab-1.9.-Wohnung hat sich eine Woche lang nicht gemeldet. Er sagte er frage seinen momentanen Mitbewohner und würde mir dann den Vertrag schicken. Und heute bekommen ich die email von ihm:

Sorry to keep you waiting so long, but I've had a number of people come to look at the apartment and I have made the decision to rent it to someone else. I was really looking for a longer-term tenant so that I don't have to do another search again in a few months, and unfortunately you were only planning to stay until December. Hopefully you've been looking at other places as well, and I wish you the best of luck in your search.

Tja, da hilft alles hopefully nix, denn warum soll ich noch groß suchen wenn ich eine Zusage hab??
Also geht das jetzt alles von vorne los. Und ich dachte ich könnte mir heute mal die Stadt anschauen.
